L’ospite dell’episodio 049 della Revealed Radio è Olly James Purvis, meglio noto semplicemente come Olly James; è un producer inglese che proviene da Newcastle. Conosciuto inizialmente per i suoi numerosissimi bootleg realizzati e supportati da molti djs internazionali, nel 2015 ha affermato la sua posizione nella scena EDM rilasciando su Spinnin Records e su Revealed Recordings.

Nel mix non manca affatto varietà di generi. Si passa infatti dalla Progressive House iniziale alla Jungle Terror, dalla Bass House all’Electro House, il tutto accompagnato a volte da canzoni commerciali che costituiscono numerosi degli edit che il dj inglese ha inserito nel corso dell’episodio. Non manca neanche spazio per alcuni dei suoi tanti bootleg, sia recenti che non, rilasciati in free download e disponibili sul suo profilo SoundCloud.

CURIOSITA’:

– Olly James produce da 3 anni, ma spesso rilasciava in free download o in label minori; sorprendentemente è più conosciuto per i suoi bootleg che per le sue tracce.

– LoaX, il producer con cui Olly James ha collaborato per realizzare Love Again, ha soltanto 16 anni, ma secondo Olly promette bene e potrà essere un astro nascente nel panorama EDM. Con LoaX ha realizzato anche uno dei remix ufficiali di Feel Your Love di Dannic & Sick Individuals.

– Welcome To The Jungle, la famosa traccia rilasciata su Revealed Recordings da Alvaro & Mercer nel 2013, è la traccia revealed preferita da Olly James, come egli stesso afferma nel momento in cui l’ha inserita nel mix.

– Olly James rilascerà presto un singolo e una collaborazione, di cui però non ci ha voluto dare altre informazioni.
