Nexeri, EMIAH – Fall In Love (Ashton Love Remix)
Since it’s release in April 2019, the original of ‘Fall In Love’ has gained nearly 500,000 streams on Spotify becoming EMIAH’s most successful single to date. The Ashton Love remix is released on 30th August 2019 – the track is filled with melodic hooks and energetic drops and EMIAH’s distinctive vocals, a perfect way to end what has already been a packed summer for the rising female artist.
Scottish Pop/R&B vocalist and songwriter EMIAH has recently teamed up with fellow Scottish songwriter and producer Stuart McInnes (known professionally as Esdaile State) to create a powerhouse duo who have been working together on worldwide collaborations including their November 2018 release with Nexeri & ConKi – “Adios Amigo” which received over 700,000 streams and broke into iTunes charts across Europe. 2018 saw the rise of EMIAH’s online presence when she smashed out a 10 part “Music Mondays” series on YouTube at the beginning of the year. The summer saw her play festivals attended by over 25,000 people, sharing the bill with music legends such as Gabrielle, JAMES and Texas. She then co-wrote and featured on a charity album released to help raise funds for the SSPCA, supported X-factor/The Voice finalist Saara Aalto (Warner Music) and finished the year off with a Christmas Tour of Scotland.
Not an artist to stay in one lane musically, EMIAH has worked in a wide range of genres including House, EDM, RnB and Hip Hop. Being a huge fan of classic 90’s R&B music and growing up with influences such as Whitney Houston, Usher and Destiny’s Child, EMIAH uses these classic sounds and infuses them with a fresh modern day spin which mirrors the likes of Kehlani, Khalid and Zara Larsson. 2019 has already got off to a flying start with 2 single releases – ‘Fall In Love’ (with Nexeri) + ‘Lovin’ Me’ (with Edward Skera) – both of which featured on major playlists by Sony, Tidal, Ministry Of Sound, Deezer and Apple Music as well as receiving radio airplay across the UK, Europe and U.S. EMIAH then went on to support BeCharlotte (Sony), The Hoosiers (RCA), Rothwell and Wrabel (RCA, Pink) – in which Pink herself made an appearance at. This summer has also seen her performing a showcase at prestigious music industry event XpoNorth and a slot at this year’s Belladrum Festival alongside acts such as Jess Glynne, Lewis Capaldi and Chvrches.
