The Blend are a four piece British Indie rock band consisting of Dylan Smith (guitar and lead vocals), Freddie Smith (keyboards), Francis Whitley (drums) and Ethan Harris (Bass). Dylan and Freddie are brothers.

Recently they have been recording brand new music on Pete Townshend’s boat in London. This is in fact where they recorded their new single ‘Back To Business‘ and the official music video for this track features renowned actor Alan Ford (Brick Top from Guy Ritchie’s movie Snatch).

The clip has been directed by the award winning actress/writer Carol Harrison. It’s a cinematic look at the track ‘Back To Business’ and is a nod to old-style British Gangster/Heist films of times gone by. Showing The Blend as criminals and bank robbers. While new kid on the block Alfie Foreman also stars showcasing he is an actor well and truly on the rise.

Alan Ford gives a star turn in the video and elevates it to new heights while The Blend bring to life their brand new release ‘Back To Business‘. The clip was screened in Soho in early November and was attended by guests such as PP Arnold, Nicky Weller, La Roux’s Mickey O’Brien and gangster Freddie Foreman. It was a star studded event that highlighted the growth of The Blend.

The new single is garnering huge support from industry insiders and radio bigwigs with BBC London’s Gary Crowley describing it as “sounding like The Stone Roses at their best”. While The Blend have also recently been on the radio doing an interview with Mickey O’Brien and have also been playing live for This Feeling in Camden ahead of ‘Back To Business‘ dropping.

‘Back To Business’ is a standout release from The Blend with it’s thumping beat and sonically pleasing melody that will delight new and old fans alike. Vocally The Blend have real shades of Oasis at their peak while lyrically the angst filled floor filler has all the makings of becoming a massive Indie success.
