Dutch electronic maestro De Hofnar has brought Australian singer-songwriter Alex Holsking on board for his new single. Thematically, the song “It’s Over” is all about the desire of getting back together with your ex-lover – at least for one night: “I know it’s wrong, but tonight I wanna give all my love. Maybe we get along and it’ll be better than before.” Combining upbeat drums with impassioned pop vocals, “It’s Over” has all the elements necessary to become a well beloved crossover track.

De Hofnar is a deep house artist, whose tracks and official remixes for the scene’s biggest names like Tiësto and Amin van Buuren count millions of streams. He started producing in his early childhood and after experimenting with electronic and classical sounds, he knew where his future lay. This combination does not only result in unique productions, but also in one-of-a-kind melodic DJ sets. True to his motto, he always manages to give his audience what they deserve: “You are the king, I’m just here to entertain you!”

From countless song sketches – Alex Hosking started writing songs when she was seven years old – to X Factor Australia, followed by a globally signed songwriter contract at Sony/ATV, the South Australian alt-pop artist is one to watch. Alex Hosking may not be a name to recognize right away. However, it’s sure to say that everyone has heard her influence on some major tunes released by artists like The Preatures in recent years. As her co-writes hit Spotify’s New Music Friday playlists as well as several charts, it was about time Hosking stepped up to the mic herself.
