DUCKWRTH – LOVE IS LIKE A MOSHPIT ft. Rico Nasty, Medasin
23rd April 2019, London UK – Duckwrth releases new single ‘LOVE IS LIKE A MOSHPIT’ featuringRico Nasty today. Taken from his upcoming project, ‘THE FALLING MAN’, the track is produced by Medasin and is another honest, reality check following previous introspective singles from the EP, ‘FALL BACK’ and ‘SOPRANO‘.
Set to release on May 17th via Island/Republic Records, ‘THE FALLING MAN’ is a candid look into Duckwrth’s psyche and his journey as an artist and a man. Inspired by awakening experiences from his travels around the world and from his day-to-day circumstances, ‘THE FALLING MAN’ addresses the reality and fear of falling as quickly as you rise. Touching on topics of love, lust, finance, focus, egotism and the struggle of staying true to who you are in spite of social trends and a growing popularity, the project parallels the ups and downs of an artist to a royal king and back to an everyday person.
With the upcoming release of ‘THE FALLING MAN’ and a full studio album on the horizon, 2019 is set to be a major breakout year for Duckwrth. From selling out tours with Anderson Paak, Rich Brian, mø and headlining a handful of them on his own to having his music featured on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and more, Duckwrth has been steadily evolving into a household name. Some of his most recent accolades include performing for Quincy Jones and Steve Mcqueen’s ‘Sounds of America’ series, partnering with Fila and Paul Smith, and collaborating with Palms Casino for their ‘UNSTATUS QUO’ campaign. Featuring Cardi B, Rita Ora, Ozuna, Marshmello, Dapper Dan and many more, the title-track was a Duckwrth original, made for Palms, and it currently has over 14 million views on YouTube.
In addition to the upcoming release of ‘THE FALLING MAN’, Duckwrth is about to embark on tour, with performances in Australia for Groovin the Moo from April 23rd to May 11th and a string of European festivals, from Openair Frauenfeld in Switzerland, Musik i Lejet in Denmark, Malmo Sommarscen in Sweden, to Melt Festival in Germany.
