A duo turned solo project, Mako returns better than ever with producer/songwriter Alex Seaver at the helm. His brand new single “Breathe” is an intricate blend of indie and electronic sensibilities that he describes as “built around a pained style: a personal and soft voice telling an uplifting story…it’s ultimately something that’s powerful and moving, but it doesn’t come without a little bit of pain attached to it as well.”

Upon the release of “Breathe”, Mako will head out on a 33-date North American tour in January of 2018 that envisions the project as a live four-piece featuring a guitarist, violinist, and drummer alongside Seaver on vocals and keys (all dates available here ). It’s the next logical step for a forward-thinking musician whose work has been backed by Ultra Music, spun on SiriusXM’s BPM, topped the Billboard dance airplay charts, allotted over 150 million streams, landed multiple HypeM #1s, and locked performances everywhere from EDC to Coachella and Lollapalooza to a League of Legends live concert in Beijing.
